As we conclude another year, the duality of time manifests itself in its simultaneous swiftness and slowness. Tex and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary, a remarkable milestone that symbolizes love, commitment, and resilience. Looking back, we realize how much we didn't know when we embarked on our journey as young newlyweds. From the challenges of parenthood to building a career, every step presented opportunities for transformation. Embracing the unknown and taking each step in faith allowed us to learn, adapt, and progress. The process of self-discovery and personal growth is ongoing, and as we reflect on the journey, we are reminded of the importance of cherishing every milestone in life, no matter how big or small.
2. Embracing Life's Surprises:
Life often surprises us with unexpected gifts—such as the announcement that we will soon become grandparents, experiencing our son’s wedding in the Philippines with our family, and being serenaded by our daughters with an original Christmas song. These moments of unexpected joy remind us of the blessings that come our way when we least anticipate them. They inspire us to embrace the beauty in life's surprises and cherish the magic they bring.
3. Gratitude for Family:
Our greatest blessings lie in the love and support of our family and loved ones Spending time with our children, sharing a meal with our parents, and Face Timing with friends are all treasured gifts. Family is the living, beating heart of our tapestry, reminding us of the transformative power of unconditional love, support, and shared values.
